Kwabena Bisiw Antwi serves as Executive Director of East Towne Assisted Living, where he leads with compassion, integrity, and a commitment to excellence. With extensive experience in assisted living and memory care, he oversees operations, regulatory compliance, staff development, financial stewardship, and strategic growth while ensuring residents receive dignified, person-centered care. Kwabena holds a BSc in Applied Biology and an MA in Non-Governmental Organizations Management and Rural Development from the University for Development Studies, along with an MBA in Project Management from Sikkim Manipal University. He is passionate about developing high-performing teams and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and servant leadership. Outside work, Kwabena actively serves in his church through leadership, music, and worship ministries. He also treasures spending quality time with his loving family.

Angela Benkovich has over 20 years of experience in community management and sales. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Buffalo State University and began her career as a social worker in a long-term care residential community. After many years of managing residential and commercial properties, she missed building meaningful connections with senior residents and families. In 2025, she obtained her North Carolina Assisted Living Administrator License. Angela is excited each day for the opportunity to make a difference and support the East Towne team and residents. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, gardening, and hiking in the mountains as often as possible.

Yolanda Ferrell brings 30 years of healthcare experience, including 15 years as a Business Office Manager, to East Towne. She is dedicated to making the administrative and financial aspects of care as smooth, transparent, and stress-free as possible for residents and their families. Yolanda takes pride in supporting the care team so they can focus on what matters most providing compassionate care and comfort. Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with her children and making lasting family memories.

De’Anqua brings more than six years of experience in sales, marketing, property management, and relationship building to his role as Community Relations Director. With a bachelor’s degree in business administration, he has built his career around connecting with people, creating positive experiences, and helping others feel confident and supported through important decisions. What De’Anqua enjoys most about senior living is building genuine relationships with residents, families, and community partners while helping families find a place their loved ones can truly call home. Outside of work, De’Anqua enjoys fashion and styling, photography, traveling, exploring new experiences, and spending time with family and friends. He brings an outgoing, welcoming personality to his work and believes a great experience often starts with a genuine connection.

As the Life Enrichment Coordinator, Crystal Hamilton is dedicated to enhancing the daily lives of our residents. She brings 20 years of experience in the healthcare field, including experience as a CNA and MedTech. Crystal has a passion for serving the elderly and creates engaging activities that promote joy, connection, and mental stimulation. She has proudly served the East Towne community for over four years. Outside of work, Crystal enjoys spending time with family and friends and traveling.

Kossivi Zossoungbo, known as “K” by the residents, is a dedicated healthcare professional with 30 years of experience in client and resident relations, including experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and MedTech. He is passionate about person-centered care and creating an environment where residents, families, and colleagues feel supported and valued. Kossivi holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance. Outside of work, he enjoys reading, growing in his faith, watching soccer with his family, and spending time in his garden.

Kizzy Brown is the Dietary Manager at East Towne Assisted Living, bringing 15 years of experience in dietary management. She is passionate about providing nutritious, enjoyable meals while meeting the dietary needs and preferences of residents. Kizzy enjoys cooking and creating delicious meals, both professionally and as a hobby. In her leisure time, she loves gardening and yard work. Her dedication, experience, and genuine passion for serving others make her a valued member of the East Towne team.

Christopher Johnston proudly serves as the Maintenance Manager, where he is known for his dependable work ethic, problem-solving skills, and commitment to maintaining a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for residents and staff. Having lived in Charlotte for a year and a half, Christopher takes great pride in serving the community he is proud to call home. He enjoys helping residents and tackling repairs and maintenance projects, bringing patience, craftsmanship, and attention to detail to everything he does. Outside of work, Christopher is a devoted dog lover and enjoys spending time with his Goldendoodle. His caring nature, hands-on approach, and dedication to helping others make him a valued member of the team and the community he serves.
